Move Missing Child Danielle Bell's Case to State Jurisdiction #justicefordaniellebell
The Issue
My sister, Danielle Arion Bell, has been missing for over 22 years now (9/28/01), and the local law enforcement agency, Escambia County Sheriff's Office, has failed to make any significant progress in her case in a number of years. Despite numerous leads and tips from the community, they have not been able to find any concrete evidence leading us to her whereabouts. There are two main suspects currently in prison, but they have failed to produce polygraph results for both individuals. They also failed to follow up on tips about my mother prostituting my sister.
My sister's case deserves more attention and resources than the local law enforcement agency can provide. Therefore, I am petitioning to have her case moved from their jurisdiction and reopened under the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is a state-level agency with more resources and expertise in handling complex cases like my sister's. They have access to advanced technology and forensic tools that could help uncover new leads or evidence.
Furthermore, statistics show that cases handled by state-level agencies are more likely to be solved than those handled by local law enforcement agencies. According to a report by The Marshall Project, state-level agencies solve an average of 63% of homicides compared to only 34% solved by local agencies.
Therefore, I urge you to sign this petition to move my missing sister's case from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office and reopen it under the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Let us bring justice for my sister and closure for our family.
