As a community committed to nurturing young talent and empowering girls through sport, we are facing a growing challenge that demands immediate attention and resolution.
The conflict is that JPL Warriors matches are currently scheduled on Saturdays, directly clashing with the existing grassroots football games for girls across the region. This scheduling issue is more than just a logistical inconvenience; it's severely impacting our participation levels and enthusiasm for the beautiful game. Week after week, we lose players and even entire teams who simply cannot manage this double commitment.
Grassroots football is the lifeblood of our local sports community here in the UK. It offers girls a platform to develop their skills, cultivate teamwork, and build confidence in a sport traditionally dominated by boys.
