Amendment of the noise ordinance has been delayed. The Town is reaching out to citizens regarding amendments, and then they will be submitted to the subcommittee for consideration.  Unfortunately, this is taking more time than we expected.  Once the subcommittee passes it along to Town Council, it will take two additional months to pass.  Myra Jones, Candidate for Town Council, reached out to the Town and Council Members requesting that this be addressed quickly. Myra spent the last year fighting (and winning the battle) for parking and access to our public beaches, and is now working to amend the noise ordinance.   We support Myra Jones for Mount Pleasant Town Council and hope you will too at the election on November 2nd.
