There are thousands -- perhaps hundreds of thousands -- of users who are fiercely dependent upon the QWERTY slideout keyboard phones. 

There are probably millions who will go to an Android phone if it had a keyboard AND decent tech specs.

Writing a 10 paragraph email for a client isn't easy to do with a crappy on screen keyboard, regardless of whether they're using Swype or some other type of Android-compatible keyboard software. For some, even a one sentence text message requires a slideout keyboard.

Please stop holding to the notion that onscreen keyboards work for everyone. They don't. There is an absolute need for a real slide-out QWERTY keyboard among Android phone users. This petition is evidence to that.  

Also, if Motorola refuses to comply with the requests of this petition, HTC/Samsung/etc, you're up.
