It's time to curb street parking in New Rochelle!
We, the undersigned, implore the city of New Rochelle to consider enforcing street parking regulations. The frequency and increasing volume of cars on the street are dangerous for children, hinder access to driveways, and make even basic commutes difficult during the fall and winter seasons when the streets collect snow and leaf piles. Please consider enforcing rules for all hours (nighttime not to be excluded) so that people living in these residential areas consider utilizing their empty driveways. Cars should be allowed to park in time-limited increments, not all day long. The situation is getting out of hand. AFFECTED AREAS: Forest Heights, Paine Heights, Wykagyl Park, Wykagyl Crossways, Highland Park (North of Rose Hill Avenue, South of Disbrow between North Avenue and Webster Avenue; North of Forest Avenue and south of Avon Rd between North Avenue and Pinebrook Blvd) Signees, please provide a note with your address so the city of New Rochelle recognizes your representation as legitimate for the affected areas.
