MSA Tyre Regulations - Making List 1A, 1B and 1C tyres eligible for all road-going classes

MSA Tyre Regulations - Making List 1A, 1B and 1C tyres eligible for all road-going classes
The Issue
The MSA have changed the regulations on tyre lists for 2016, making some of the current list 1B tyres ineligible for road-going classes by designating them as a list 1C tyre, specifically the Kumho V70a (V700) and Avon ZZR ranges.
This petition is to appeal to the MSA to make all list 1A, 1B and 1C tyres eligible for road-going classes in 2016 and beyond.
If this petition is not heard, current competitors in road going classes with fully road going vehicles will have to have their vehicles log booked by an MSA scrutineer and compete in mod prod classes against vehicles running slicks. This will create additional cost and put competitors into classes that cannot be considered a level playing field.
Furthermore, many competitors have current list 1A, 1B and 1C tyres that are road legal beyond 2016 that have been ruled ineligible overnight.
