Living in West Cork, Ireland can feel isolating due to the lack of reliable and convenient transportation options. This issue affects people across all age groups - from young adults looking for a night out, to middle-aged individuals wanting a casual catch-up over a glass of wine, and older citizens whose only social interaction often comes from visiting the local pub on Saturday nights. The government's strict no-tolerance policy on drinking and driving is commendable but it leaves us stranded without sufficient taxi services.

The introduction of Uber or something similar in our region would provide an essential lifeline for many residents. It would improve quality of life by providing easy access to social activities that are currently difficult to reach. In other regions where Uber operates, it has proven to be an effective solution for similar issues (source: Uber Impact Report).

If tourists & locals could easily, quickly & affordably travel between our beautiful West Cork towns, villages, beaches & scenic spots, day or night it would benefit a wide variety of businesses.
