Dear Fellow Mineola Residents,

Are you concerned about developers taking the last remaining large parcels of land in our village, only to divide them and build oversized McMansions? These developments strain our local resources, burden utilities, crowd our streets with more traffic, increase class sizes in our schools, and erode the small-town charm that makes Mineola special.

It’s time we come together and voice our concerns to the mayor and the board of trustees. We need to urge them to enact a moratorium and amend our village code to prevent further overdevelopment. Let’s make it clear to our elected officials that we’ve had enough.
