🌳 MONBULK HAS WAITED LONG ENOUGH. IT’S TIME FOR OUR VILLAGE GREEN.
Monbulk is surrounded by beautiful bushland and farmland, but our community has long identified something missing: a welcoming public green space in the heart of our town where people can gather, play, connect and belong.

This is not a new request.

For more than a decade, the Monbulk community has participated in consultations, plans and advocacy about the future of our town. Council's own planning work has recognised the need for more parks and open spaces for community use, and the Village Green has remained part of that vision.

Through it all, MADCOW, the Monbulk and District Community Working Group, has continued to champion the community's aspirations and advocate for a better future for Monbulk.

Now, the time for talking about the Village Green must become a time for action.
We want to transform the former soccer pitch into a place for everyone - with beautiful open green space, play opportunities, community events, local performances and places for people of all generations to simply spend time together.

We know a project like this won't happen overnight.

But after years of planning, consultation and advocacy, our community deserves a clear pathway forward.

We are calling on Yarra Ranges Council, our State and Federal representatives, and those seeking to represent our community to come together and help turn this long-held vision into reality.

The community has done its part. We have participated. We have advocated. We have waited.

Now we need our representatives to act.

Share it. Talk about it. Write to our representatives.

Let's make some positive, respectful and firm noise, and show our representatives just how much this matters to Monbulk.

Our town. Our green. Our turn.
It’s time to make the Monbulk Village Green happen.
