Subject: Please Ban Chicken Cruelty!
Body:
Dear Decision Makers:
Your company has fallen behind competitors on issues of animal welfare and transparency. Subway, Burger King, Qdoba, Chipotle, Panera Bread, Pret A Manger, Aramark, Compass Group, Bon Appétit Management Company, Centerplate, Delaware North, and others have all publicly committed to fundamental chicken welfare policies for their entire supply chains. It is time for Moe’s to do the same.
Animal abuse is bad business, and I don’t support companies that won’t take a stance on this important issue. When will Moe’s announce its commitment to implementing higher welfare standards for the chickens in its supply chain?
If you want to go the extra mile, you can also give Steve DeSutter, CEO of Focus Brands, Moe’s parent company, a call at 404-255-3250 ext. 2068. Politely let him know that you’d like Moe’s to publicly commit to improving chicken welfare in its supply chain. Please leave a message if you’re sent to voicemail!
Thank you for all you do to help animals!
