As a partially passionate fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, I have grown attached to the characters that make up its universe. However, one character from the games -  Eggman  - are in a simple need of modernization . Their current designs do not reflect their unique personalities and roles within the series to proof that it’s a kid friendly franchise 

The Sonic franchise has nearly 35 years of experience and has sold more than 140 million copies abroad (source: Sega's fiscal year 2021 report). It is beloved by many for its fast-paced gameplay and memorable characters. Yet these four characters' designs have remained stagnant despite significant advancements in gaming technology.

, Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik could benefit from an update that makes him look much more cartoonish by taking away his eyeglasses as it befits his role as Sonic's arch-nemesis and to reveal his facial appearance 

A simplified identity change and of these characters would not only improve their individual appeal but also enhance overall game aesthetics aligning with modern gaming standards. This will ensure that both old fans like me who grew up with these games can continue enjoying them while attracting new players too.
