My family, myself and many close friends of ours have owned pit bulls our entire lives. These are the most loyal dogs you will ever come in to contact with. They are amazing dogs to have around children, as they are extremely LOVING and protective. 

All these documented attacks are typically about some stranger or other person(s) entering someones home or yard unpermitted. If I'm not mistaken, this is why people have "guard dogs"... to guard their homes. If chihuahuas were big enough to be guard dogs, you'd probably here more about them as well. These dogs, just like any other breed or HUMAN for that matter, respond to the environment they are raised in. So if your neighbors kid has an anger problem, produced by his environment and has to be taken away; does that mean all the kids on that block should be as well? Why not?! It's the same descrimination practice. Just because one does it, doesn't mean it's inherent in them all! Just like your little lab at home, who you love so much, we love our pit babies as well. Anyone who's ever been around a pit bull breed would know this descrimination is rediculous. If anything make harsher punishments for the owners of the animals. Extra jail time, bigger fines, etc. Cases being documented inside a persons property should be inadmissable, in my opinion. Please stop this discrimination and let us relax with out WHOLE family. 

These are amazing dogs and they're so smart and loving. They're the closest animal you could ever get to resemble a baby. They love you unconditionally and should be treated with the same respect.

The people who make these animals out to be monsters are extrememly ignorant sheep, who have nothing better to do but fuel ignorance. Anyone who has not owned a pit bull, should have no say in the matter of banning them. That's strictly prejudice. If it's not right to do to humans, we shouldn't allow it for our dogs.  Humans are the ones who make these dogs mean. PUNISH THEM!! We wouldn't punish a car for swerving into another persons lane, so why judge the creature who just wants love and exceptance. STOP THE RACISM!!
