On 1/2/2020 Abilities, LLC was placed on a Critical Status Plan (CSP) by the Missouri Department of Mental Health - Division of Developmental Disabilities. We completed our CSP as of 6/30/2020. On 7/23/2020 we were notified our contract was being revoked “without cause.” We have been given no explanation or reason, no meeting or discussion has been offered. 

The consequences of this contract revocation are dire - not only will 120 people in the Warrensburg, MO area lose their employment, 40 people with developmental disabilities will be forced to move. Some of the individuals have been living here for 15 years with the same staff supporting them. Our individuals are devastated - many have asked if they can run away, hide, or refuse to move. Please help us help them.
