Vicky Jo Hartzler is an American politician, businesswoman, teacher, and farmer who has made a significant impact in Missouri and national politics. As a member of the Republican Party, she represented Missouri's 4th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 to 2023. Prior to her tenure in Congress, Hartzler served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 1995 to 2001 for the 124th district. In addition to her political career, she is a small business owner and has worked as a public school teacher. Hartzler holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Central Missouri. Her diverse background highlights her commitment to public service and education.
