I need help in getting the no visitor policy lifted for prenatal visits.

My wife was 20 weeks pregnant when she went in for her “routine ultrasound.” They discovered the baby has anencephaly. This diagnosis has a 0 % survival rate for the baby. My wife had to receive this news on her own because clinics will not allow fathers (or anyone) to join mothers for any prenatal appointments due to covid.

Not only do I hurt for the loss of my son, but I hurt for my wife. Since I was not allowed at any of her appts (due to covid), you’ve had to do this on your own since day one, and that is 1000% wrong. NOONE should ever have to go to their dr and receive such devastating news alone.

This needs "no visitor" policy to be changed. Expectant mothers should be allowed at least one member of your family to be with you. I honestly don’t even know why this l would be an issue. Let a soon to be father watch his ultrasound with his wife. Let them enjoy holding hands and taking in every moment together. Good or bad!!!!!!!!!!!

NEVER NEVER I’m saying NEVER should any expecting mother have to do that alone.

Please help me do something to change this God awful policy! One member from the same household should be able to be with his/her significant other at any and all dr appointments if they see fit that should be their choice not someone else’s. #PLEASESHARE #SHARE
