Kathy Henry was relieved of her position on the parole board! This is a HUGE blessing. Ms. Henry very likely has some personal emotional issues. These issues were clearly visible during previous hearings when she behaved in ways that made people think she was not emotionally stable. When paying a visit to the board in support of Deborah, Ms. Henry would broadcast completley unfounded, outlandish and rude statements such as saying Deborah is unsafe and unfit to be around small children (in general), including her own granddaughter. She would say extreme statements to Deborah during interviews in an attempt to get a rise from her or to just plain hurt her for no reason (such as telling her that she is not a mother or a grandmother to her daughter and granddaughter). The fact that she is now gone, is an awesome development people!
In addition to Ms. Henry's relief from the board, Mr. Steve Pickett was able to attend the first graduation ceremony for the Angel's Eyes Visual Fine Arts Program developed by Deborah. The ceremony was beautiful and Mr. Pickett was able to see firsthand how many lives Deborah has touched from inside the prison. The women who graduated were able to experience a closeness with Jesus that wasn't available in their regular unit. Deborah's program allowed these ladies to have a safe place to connect with Christ and develop fine art. The ceremony definitely had a positive impact on Mr. Pickett so please keep his positive influence in prayer as we approach Deborah's next hearing!
