Canada being a pluralist society embracing people of all cultures & religions, it is a fundamental principle that Freedom of Religion must also mean Freedom from Religion. 

Religion is a private matter and should be restricted to homes and places of worship.

Canadian municipal Governments should NOT modify noise by-laws such that houses of worship are allowed to broadcast on external loudspeakers. At least when within the confines of their homes, people should NOT be subject to external religious broadcasts.

It is to be noted that this petition :

• isn't opposed to any faith, houses of worship or members thereof
• is opposed to external amplified broadcasts by houses of worship, regardless of faith
