In the summer of 2014, National Star College, a specialist college in Gloucestershire was visited by an independent production company called Minnow Films, as their students, who were all disabled, were to be the subject of a documentary series on BBC Three, as part of a disability season to be broadcast the next year. 

The Unbreakables: Life and Love on Disability Campus was broadcast on BBC Three for three episodes in the summer of 2015, and they were a massive success, getting loads of people talking on social media and garnering mass media attention during and after transmission - it even got broadcast in Denmark, so why stop there?

It has been almost five years since The Unbreakables and I feel strongly that it should have been broadcast for WAY more than just those three episodes! I'll go as far to say that it should be a permanent fixture on telly, much like The Undateables is. 

Maybe, as well as the college, you could visit the homes of students and ex-students each week, and seeing as the world is in the way it is right now, you could find out from a disabled person's perspective how lockdown has been!

Also, think of all those people who have sadly missed their chance to be a part of the original run - I've been with the college now as a student and volunteer for nine years and I can tell you that EVERYBODY has a story to tell!
