George Floyd was brutally murdered whilst begging for his life by ex-officer and murderer Derek Chauvin on camera on May 25, 2020. The video became viral on Facebook and reminded countless of us that racism is unfortunately still alive and well. 

Even though Floyd was handcuffed and 100% compliant with these 4 officers, Derek Chauvin put his knee on Floyd’s carotid artery for more than 8 minutes until he could no longer take a breath, murdering him. Tou Thao, Thomas Lane, and J. Alexander Kueng all WATCHED, STOOD IDLY BY, and ALSO KNEELED ON HIS BACK SIMULTANEOUSLY.  Throughout this heinous act, Floyd stayed complicit on the ground, simply begging for his mother and told the officers he could not breathe MORE than 14 times.

So, now we must show those abusers of power that we CARE and DEMAND JUSTICE. Make George’s name heard. For him and his family, SHARE and SIGN this petition to YOUR friends and family to spread awareness of the ongoing police brutality and killings that MUST be brought to JUSTICE!

UPDATE: Derek Chauvin (the one who directly murdered Floyd), Tou Thao, Thomas Lane, and J. Alexander Kueng have all been ARRESTED. Chauvin has been INDICTED FOR SECOND DEGREE MURDER but their cases have just begun. I will not petiton for a higher charge because Chauvin could be found not guilty for premeditation and walk out scot-free. Instead, I ask you guys to keep supporting and showing your power in numbers by signing this petition and raising awareness. 

We need Minnesota State officers of power to see how MUCH we want justice for George Floyd. THANK YOU!
