On August 13, 2020, a beloved member of the community was taken from us. Surajdeep Singh, was the victim of a robbery and was fatally stabbed on a pathway near 155 Queen Mary Road in Brampton.

Surajdeep was walking home from a nearby Gurdwara, which was apart of his daily routine. He was an incredible young man with a bright future. He came to this country to make a better life for himself only for him to be tragically murdered by the evil of our society. 

What happened to Surajdeep could have happened to anybody walking through the park that day. He was a random target of a robbery.

We are requesting that these murderers be tried as adults and receive the maximum punishment. The world is a better place without these evil individuals in it and they should pay for what they did to Surajdeep. We will not accept a light sentence for this senseless act.
