Speed breakers all ever India are in different shapes and sizes. The purpose of the speed breakers is to reduce speed of vehicles. Some are short some are tall. Some are too narrow while some are too broad. Too high/tall or too narrow speed breakers result in damage to vehicles, irrespective of the speed of vehicles. This is mainly due to different heights of vehicles. Many sedan vehicles at their lowest speed still get damaged as their mid- floors touch tall speed breakers. There have been many cases of deaths due to these non uniform speed breakers. The damages of vehicles, including cars and heavy vehicles, result in waste of time and energy, which is an unseen/unaccounted loss of the nation. This is a man-made problem. 

India needs uniform speed breakers, maybe of 2 or 4 types. Example: inside city/town/village  there could be multiple (4) speed breakerswith short (2-3 inch) height while for roads connecting cities/towns/villages there could be 1 or 2 speed breakers with max. 6 inch height. There should be maximum height and width requirements for speed breakers. Maybe these requirements are  in place (on paper) but not seen on roads. 

Having uniform speed breakers will reduce life and property damages and improve India's productivity.
