Plastic is the perfect solution... because it never dies.

Now I understand what your precious plastic does for you;
Keeps your food fresh, gives you clean water and can even stop bullets too.
You can shape it, mold it, toss it around.
And just like a McDonald’s, anywhere you look, it’ll always be found.

I get that plastic is important, but that’s just for you.
But what about me, shouldn’t I have a say in this too?

Plastic is the perfect solution BUT it never dies

By 2050 I’ll have more plastic than fish by weight.
So with this fact in mind, can't you understand the hate.
This hatred isn’t a new, because I’m losing life by the second.
So please excuse me if I occasionally rant, plead or beckon.

I cover more than 70% of the Earth’s surface.
So hear me out; I promise it’ll all be worth it.
The next time you decide to grab a quick bite, Grab a reusable bottle, and refuse those plastic straws.
In no time, these healthy practices might even become law.
For the sake of my habitants, and the wider world, keep me plastic free,
Else, the next person choking on your shopping bag will definitely not be me. -
