Yoga Studios in Kelowna have been advised to close down for a 3rd time since Covid in March 2020. There have NEVER been any cases to come out of a Yoga Studio in Kelowna. Our small businesses are struggling for only the reason that they are wrongfully being shut down by Dr. Bonnie Henry, due to generalizing us into a category of "Indoor Group Fitness". As a studio owner, I've never even had Interior Health come in to do a safety check on us, so how do they know who is following protocol or not?? Yoga Studios are NOT the problem in Kelowna, therefore shutting them down will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the numbers of Covid. It is completely unfair to destroy small businesses like this that are trying their best to stay within protocol when other businesses like Gyms, Malls, Arcade Game Centres ALL stay open with way less safety protocols in place. How is this OK?? It's not. We are asking for your help. Please sign this petition to help Yoga Studios in Kelowna get approved to re-open.
