The China International Student Union has also drafted an open letter in both Chinese to authorities suggesting possible solutions to the problems presented as a result of the current visa ban. This included the democratic input of student representatives from over 200 universities. Please share and send to your local ambassadors and journalists for max impact.

致相关人士，
China International Student Union which consists of representatives from over 200 universities across China have shared their findings and stand on behalf of fellow students stuck outside of China.
来自全国 200 多所大学的代表组成的中国留学生联合会(China International Student Union)代了滞留在中国境外的学生们，并分享了他们的调查结果。
The association through information gathering from the public has learned about the planned demonstration by scholars on NO RETURN NO PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES. We gathered the students' argument based on the information, which are as follows:
根据从公众收集来的信息，该协会了解到学生们计划进行“不返校不缴费”的示 意活动。由此整理以下学生诉求：
1.They argued they can't keep paying school fees for online degrees, which their country has stated won't be acceptable in their respective countries
⼀、他们表示，无法继续付学费上网课，因为他们的国家已声明不承认以这种授课方式得到学士学位证书。
2.They argued that what they paid for is physical classes and hence,should be given what they paid for.
⼆、他们表示，付费上学应得到有互动并生动的授课，因此他们希望得到等价的教学课程。
3.They went further to argue that online classes are of extremely poor quality.
三、他们进⼀步表示，网络课程质量达不到线下课程的效果。
4.They also pointed out that the time difference between China makes online classes impossible. During our information gathering we learned a lot of students attend online classes between 12am to 6am.
四、他们还指出，由于时差关系，线下课程进行得十分艰辛。在信息收集过程中，我们了解到⼤部分留学生在凌晨 12 点到早上 6 点才能学习网络课程。
5.We further gathered that students from developing countries have poor internet access and other technical issues trying to connect to classes online.
五、我们进⼀步了解到，来⾃发展中国家的留学生进行线上课程时，由于网络技术原因，经常出现断网现象，导致学生听课效果不佳。
6.We also gathered that students cannot concentrate at home due to reasons such as the environment is not Education friendly (noise, interference from family).
六、我们还发现，由于环境问题（有噪音、家庭干扰等原因），学生在家上课无法集中注意⼒，不利于有效学习。
We have noted clearly what they are demanding from their respective universities, Ministry of Education of China, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and other relevant authorities. Their demands are stated below:
留学生们希望从中国教育部、中国外交部等其他有关部门得到正面回复。
“A clear date when they could return to their schools in China.
" 希望有关部门可以给海外留学生们一个明确的可返回中国学校的时间。"
We further reminded them of the pandemic,and they argued that just like business people are returning to China through Negative PCR test + Antibody test for COVID-19, quarantine and other epidemic control measures. They are willing to follow these protocols.
留学生也时刻关注着这场疫情，他们认为，也可以像持有工作签证的外籍人员⼀样通过 PCR 阴性检测 +COVID-19 抗体检测、检疫等防疫措施返回中国。留学⽣们也会同样办理与遵守这些入境手续与规则。
China International Student Union haven't decided or endorse no return no payment policy, but we are joining the rest of the students in asking for a clear date of return from the relevant authorities in China.
中国留学生联合会暂未认可或决定“不返校不缴费”活动，但我们正和其他学生一 起向中国有关部门征求⼀个明确的返校⽇期。
There are epidemic control measures for traveling, and we suggest China implements these epidemic control measures and return students back to their schools as their future is already in jeopardy.
目前针对部分入境人员已采取了防疫措施，我们建议中国对留学生们也采取类似的行动，让学生尽早重返校园，因为他们的未来已经岌岌可危。
We understand the fears of the Chinese government about students bringing the virus into China , so in addition to the epidemic control measures , we are suggesting a stepwise return process beginning from graduating class and practical based majors, Then gradually to every student.Thanks for your understanding
该联合部的成员们非常明白中国政府对学生可能将病毒带入中国的担忧，因此， 我们希望中国政府除了采取防疫防控措施外，还希望能从毕业班和实践专业开始，允许留学生阶段错峰返校学习。非常感谢您的理解。 感谢您抽出宝贵时间阅读，期待您的回复！
