The stray animals and abandoned or mistreated pets have nowhere to go in India. The animal activists keep struggling to help them and managing with absolutely no or inadequate resources. None of the Governments so far have had Animal Welfare as a priority. We urge the Government to erect good Adoption Organisations throughout India so that such animals are away from crimes and misery. They will also be a source of promotion for our Indian dogs who have been looked down upon with racism and contempt by the Indians themselves. The Indian dogs deserve homes too, and they are not Street Dogs. Adoption Orgsnisations will rehome all needy dogs while taking care of them as long as they have no homes or incase they are not adopted, keeping with them.
