The extensive network of Indian Railways cuts across dense forests, habitat of various wild species. In many states, railway lines passing through elephant habitats have led to numerous accidents. This does not just pertain to elephants but also other  species that are severly affected. Action has to be immediately taken. This is an act of negligence..animals can also feel pain . Time to act now
