Almost every university student in Malaysia are suffering due to ridiculed amount of tuition fees that authorities are refusing to reduce. Despite the fact that students are not using campus facilities, university proceeds to charge and includes it in student’s tuition fees. They continued to charge without proper justification regardless of student financial situation. Some universities are using this pandemic to their advantage by charging students for every little things, such as; late penalty fee (eg: RM5/day), late add/drop subject registration, transcripts fee, transfer programs, appeal fee for high absenteeism and more. Students are being barred from sitting for examinations or accessing their result, if they failed to make tuition fee payments. Especially during this MCO, students are struggling to pay tuition fees but universities are not considerate enough about it. 

We, as students are going through mental stress due to this issue. We have reached out to our respective universities to help us out on this matter, but they continue to ignore us.
