Not every child is driven to school. For those of our children that travel by public transport, they could be exposed to the virus as they travel to and from school. Those kids in turn - who may not show symptoms - could spread to the vulnerable.

We have had an e-learning platform for home-based learning in place for situations like this one. We are now facing a global pandemic. Our children should not be the government’s political pawn to get re-elected during a crisis.

Please close schools and transfer to home-based learning so no child is left behind in their studies and no child - and teacher - need to be exposed to risks.

We cannot be reactive like in the case of the PCF Centers. Act now to contain this spread! These are unprecedented times and unprecedented measures need to be taken to ensure that we fight the virus.

Staying home is the only way to plank this curve.
