The plight of commercial Animals in Bihar when they are sick injured or old, is usually left on the road to die. There is no animal Ambulance in the state to lift such animals from the road, not much is done for treatment when the animals meet accident on the road or hit by a speeding vehicle, even if some how the animals are taken to veterinary hospital by small pick up van managed by locals or by People for Animals volunteers, many medicines are not there  in the procurement list of government. People for animals has to bear the cost of the expensive medicines, No food if the animals has to stay for long for treatment. No proper shelter and after care is missing in the state. since last 4-5 days a person was waiting in the veterinary hospital for treatment of his horse who had multiple fracture.  He was told that the horses leg has to be amputee d , and the cost of the medical expense was RS-10000/-   The owner left the hospital premises with the horse. Today the horse is left on the road of Danapur area  without medical care to die.
