Save NZ Bees --- Change MPI Policy Which Condones The Use of Pesticides

The issue

Albert Einstein predicted that when bees go extinct, humans will follow the path to extinction in just 4 years.
But it's not too late to make a change.

Bees are the biggest and most reliable pollinator on the planet, but around the world they are dying off quickly in massive numbers, and without bees to pollinate plants and spread seeds, plants would quickly die off; removing more than 60% of food crops from New Zealand supermarkets.

Pesticide use is unavoidable in modern agriculture, with the use of pesticides increasing miraculously during the last four decades, however the side effects are drastic and are harming bees all over the world and even in New Zealand, due to how toxic these bee-killing chemicals are.
Pesticides damage a bee's ability to gather food, pollinate and produce honey--some pesticides will kill a bee directly, whereas other chemicals will affect bees over time, and can even harm their offspring.

In New Zealand, the use of pesticides is condoned by the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997--pesticides make food for human's safe in the short term, however in the long term pesticides can effect the human health and child development. This policy cannot be withdrawn, but it can be changed:
We need to tell the Ministry for Primary Industries that we want the use of pesticides to be controlled, so that bees can be saved from extinction.
