I am pleased to inform you that the petition has now been delivered to the office of the Nicole Belloubet, Minister de la Justice, at the Federal Government office 13 Plac e Vendome, Paris. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stage a one-man protest outside her office, get arrested by les gendarmes, or be thrown in jail for being a public nuisance to draw attention to the petition. This was mainly due to lack of time, and poor forward planning skills on my part. I posted the printed petition with over 6000 names of digital signatories attached in a binded folio from the Boulevard Aristide Lefevre post office in Courbevoie, about 5 miles from the centre of Paris. Hopefully the Minister will be shown the petition in due course. Any decision she makes or does not make will be an indication of her sense of justice and compassion. I hope that she will do something and we will see some results in the not to distant future. In the mean time we just need to continue advocating for human rights for CIAO people around the world. Thank you for all your support, and best wishes to all of you.
