The ruthless murder of a tusker by throwing a burning tyre in Masinagudi,Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu has brought to the fore the importance of conservation of key stone species.

There is a need for creating awareness on wildlife rights,harmonious relations with humans and wild paws.
