Thank you. #EnoughIsEnough THE RESCUE THAT NEVER WAS RESCUE When the former AHAR UK Charity fundraiser, Sharon M, made her second visit to AHAR, the founder and current manager decided to stage a rescue. Several reasons were given to various people at the time for this:- •To give SM the 'experience' of a 'live rescue' as she had worked so hard •To help fulfil her wish •To get video footage and photographs for funds •To get people in the UK to donate People were told that these horses had been rescued earlier and the current manager had supposedly asked the farmer to put the horses back where he originally found them - thus enabling photos and video to be captured and SM to be in on a 'live rescue' as it were. True enough, the horses - Magna & Volo - were found and it was a genuinely upsetting experience as you can hear on the video, as the horses were chained to the trees and had been eating bark. Then Sharon and Caroline were asked to write on the AHAR page and share their 'experience.' These poor horses were NEVER rescued they were BOUGHT - THE WHOLE THING WAS STAGED! The horses were DELIBERATELY chained to a tree for maximum effect. If Sharon got the taste of a 'real rescue' she would be more committed to raise yet more funds. MONEY FLOWS We have seen evidence of the funds raised because of this particular 'fake rescue' - well over €5,500 was sent via Paypal. This does not include money sent to UK donation link as a result of the 'rescue'. The funds from PayPal ALONE for the month of February 2016 EXCEEDED €40,000. *Please note that these amounts EXCLUDE - direct debits, text donations, cash donations, vet and feed donations and adoption fees. Rugs and other items were also donated.* MANIPULATION The current manager is a master manipulator. Using anyone and everyone as it suits for her objective. The emotive language used in the post - bad enough if a genuine rescue, but on a rescue that the current manager had set up - it is deplorable. All designed to play on people's heartstrings and generosity. Raising funds by deception.
