AHAR are fund raising for yet another fair. To BUY dogs, which they like to disguise as 'rescue'. Dogs that are likely unchipped - selling of which is illegal. Will any abuse be reported for a change? AHAR are fuelling this trade in misery by BUYING. A reasonable comment on their Facebook page, asking about AHAR not getting dogs from the pound - deleted. KCC are no longer supplying dogs to AHAR, yet AHAR fail to be transparent about this fact. In this same post AHAR again claim funds are low. They have a duty of care to their resident animals - if true - why continually over-stretch themselves? Continuing buying dogs when funds are persistently so low is counter-productive and poor management. They also allege that they have turned away owner surrenders but will happily BUY dogs - putting the owner surrenders at risk of being PTS. This is immoral and unethical. We also have a witness that saw AHAR first hand, BRING dogs themselves to the fairs and walk them through grabbing the necessary photos.
