The difference between ourselves and those close to the manager of AHAR, is that we provide FACTS! In their attempt to try and silence us, we have been subjected to false accusations against us, our families and our businesses. We've endured numerous bans from social media as a result of mass reporting our attempts to get the truth out. Our questions on the ahar page have been repeatedly deleted, gone unanswered as well as threats of violence. Here is a screen shot of yet ANOTHER false accusation. Let me explain..... on the 22nd April last year, I was driving home with our lab Lucy. We'd just spent a beautiful but chilly spring day out walking. On our way home, I received a phone call from my little boys school to say that he'd been attacked and would need to get checked out at minor injuries. I was worried sick!! As any parent would be and drove straight to the school and collected my son. He was badly bruised down one side of his face, split lip and a sore ankle. Thankfully, we have a minor injuries department literally 2 mins away and they're very quick when seeing to patients. In fact, I was there one day last week with my other son and we were in and out, xray done within 30 mins. Being worried, I just brought Lucy along, instead of taking her all the way home and then going to get my son. Thankfully, my son didn't require an xray and we were in and out within 20 mins. He was quite shaken, but ok. Lucy stayed in the front of the van during this 20mins. I had no concerns for her welfare in the van due to the fact that it was only 12 degrees and overcast. Hardly the hottest day of the year!! We also have an onboard cooling system and this keeps the temperature inside the van comfortable. This cooling system runs off both the engine and a battery. It was in full working order on this day, not that it was needed, as the temperature outside was only 12 degrees. I have attached a screen shot of the temperature on that day. Where have I ever admitted that I left my dog in a scorching hot van on the hottest day of the year? Don't be so ridiculous!! We exposing ahar actually have animal welfare as our top priority and concern. I'm afraid you're getting us mixed up with ahar. I have all the evidence that completely shows these accusations for what they are..... LIES!! I can also provide proof of dates from hospital records, school records, the temperature and weather conditions on that day, the internal temperature controls of the van, along with an onboard thermostat. Now.... As this petition is about AHAR and nothing else, please keep your comments relevant to the topic at hand and FACTUAL. Distraction tactics will NOT work here and won't be tolerated. As such, this will be the last time I address any questions or comments not relevant to the petition and the alleged ongoing cruelty, neglect and fraud within AHAR. On that note..... WHAT HAPPENED TO FIREFLY?? Firefly arrived at ahar and was not mentioned publicly for a whole 18 months. When she arrived at ahar, she was in good condition. There are pictures to prove this, along with a statement from the owner. Why did firefly suddenly appear on the ahar page after 18 months in ahars care, emaciated and covered in sores? Why did ahar claim firefly came from the 'meatman' during their appeal for funds? As a direct result of fireflys emaciated state, she Sadly died within days of that heartbreaking and FALSE appeal??
