Veterinarian Healthcare. I would like to see all vet clinics within Australia provide bulk billing. There are a lot of customers who would benefit from this service and it would decrease the likelihood of animals being neglected and forced to be placed in shelters or put down due to not able to find a home or overloading of shelters. If people cannot afford to care for their animals, it increases the likelihood of them being abandoned or given to a shelter. A simple consultation can range from $50 and up just to have a simple check up. There can be additional costs if there are any health issues with the pet. Animals play a big part in people's life including being a companion, helping to keep people from being isolated ,and improvement in health for the human and animal by going for daily walks People would also benefit from providing bulk billing because they could also attain discounted medication and foods.
