Thank you for continuing to sign and share! I think my Change.org coach gave up on me because I pushed back on how they wanted me to play the “getting signers” game.

Except this is not a game. This is someone’s life.

Everyone should be concerned about what happened to Ms Ijeoma Ukenta. We are all involved in systems which uphold white supremacy and each of us are responsible, especially White people, to do our part to dismantle systemic racism. 
I have reached out to multiple Black Lives Matter accounts and people within the community and received little response. I’m presuming most are inundated with other advocacy work. 
If the petition continues to stall, I will finish collecting signatures and present the ones we have to Millburn Township Mayor Tara Prupis and Millburn Police Chief Brian Gilfedder.
