This petition has almost 900.000 signatures, the title of the petition is 'Dammed to Extinction'

Rep. Simpson has clearly stated that breaching the four dams on the lower Snake River is the only way to keep the chinook and steelhead salmon from going extinct. These fish are the Southern Resident killer whale's main food source and they are currently starving. There are only a little over 70 southern residents left and they cannot wait another decade for the dams to be breached, because they will starve. The four dams need to be breached now in order to give our beloved whales a fighting chance at survival. Killer whales are intelligent, empathetic, and social animals, just like us humans. They have the second largest brain in the animal kingdom and take first place for the most gyrified brain on earth. Please help us save our beloved orcas. The most important thing you can do is send an email/comment to Simpson.concept@mail.house.gov and urge him to start breaching the dams this year rather than in 10 years. The SR killer whales are on the verge of extinction, please help save them. Help us get rid of the four dams this year (2021) so that the salmon populations and our SR killer whale population can stabilize. Please sign, share, and write that email!
