It is with disbelief that the residents of the Northern Beaches found out just before Christmas that the NSW Government proposes to split our beautiful Warringah community in half, dispossessing it's residents. The southern half to the amalgamated with Mosman and Manly, the northern half to go to Pittwater. Residents from Mosman to Palm Beach are angered, confused and outraged at this. To top it off, each Council has been officially gagged by the State Government. In a guide released to Council's, it states that any Council person publicly opposing the merger will be sacked. So it's up to us, the residents. We have until 28 February to make submissions to the delegates involved in the merger stating our objections.
