Hi all,
I just wanted to tell you all about another poor dog that has been abused and left with terrible injuries to his jaw. He has had surgery now (on 9th November) and he is now in recovery which may take some time as he cannot eat properly and needs to be fed liquids.
This, once again is another victim found in the Funchal area of Madeira.
When will things change in Portugal, i really don't know? The situation on the mainland is just as bad if not worse as there are many starving dogs wandering the streets which are blatantly ignored by the local people. You will also see them lying by the roadsides unable to move as they are so weak! It is very heartbreaking to see and although you try your brst to feed them whenever you can, this is simply not enough!
Why did Portugal abolish its euthanasia policy and donothing about sterilisation? How is this supposed to work?
Please sign, share and comment. thankyou.
