Hi everyone, 

It seems that most people who go to Spain for holidays are blissfully unaware of how much animal cruelty there is in this country.

They are quite shocked to learn that as many as 36.000 bulls are tortured every year for entertainment in the bullrings and that they are helping to perpetrate this continuing indefinitely. Does it take that much thought to realise this or don't they care!! I would say that anyone who wishes to go to a bullfight has a problem which seriously needs to be looked at!!

There is also the matter of the galgos hunting dogs which after every hunting season has finished are mercilessly hung from trees and left to die a painful death! or else they are thrown down wells to die.The Spanish people enjoy hanging the dogs as their paws often will touch the ground and they say that they are playing the piano!!  Really, really, sick people.

Then there are about 300 festivals every year which involve animal cruelty ranging from throwing goats off church towers, pulling heads off gease.Abusing donkeys, setting fire to bulls (which really is beyond belief) and abusing horses. In fact no animal is safe in Spain.

But in spite of all this, people still wish to go to Spain for holidays! WHY? DO THEY NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THEY ARE SUPPORTING THIS BARBARITY WITH THEIR TOURIST MONEY!!!
