As of 2022-2023, Microsoft has silently disabled multiplayer for Forza Horizon 3 on PC, Players on PC cannot play multiplayer with other players, and when trying to find a multiplayer server, it will get stuck on "Finding a multiplayer session". On Xbox One, Series S, Series X, multiplayer works great, it seems to be PC users being affected. If Microsoft fixes the multiplayer for Forza Horizon 3, people who already own the game can play the game with friends or other players online without having to go on Forza Horizon 5, some think the older Forza games were way more fun. Some have said the reason why is because Microsoft wants to move people to the new game, but I don't get it if Xbox users can still play multiplayer normally, but us PC users can't. We can still play Forza Horizon 3 with some online features, such as Drivatars, leaderboards, and the auction house. BUT we can not play with other players or friends, so car meets, Horizon groups, or playing multiplayer is simply not gonna work.
