Since Windows Vista I've been using the vertical taskbar feature. It's second nature to me now to always look on the left of my monitor to find it.

I was very excited to hear that Windows 11 has been released until I found out about the lack of taskbar customization. For some unknown reason, Microsoft has removed the ability to move your taskbar into a vertical orientation.

I can't imagine it's difficult to add this feature into Windows 11 as it has been implemented in Windows since before I can even remember.

I'm not asking for much, just a vertical taskbar. I use 3 monitors, and the taskbar sits on the right-hand side of my left-most monitor. This allows me to use the full 1920x1080 of my main monitor while still having a taskbar as close as possible.

Please Microsoft, do the right thing.
