In Detroit, Michigan on March 10, 2023, the Hardaway family’s home became a war zone.

"Sgt. Todd Poppema"  falsified the search warrant affidavit and refused to provide the warrant before or after when asked by Ms.Hardaway. Poppema also provided perjured testimony  on the witness stand regarding the falsified search warrant affidavit. The family was targeted, lied on, and set up by "🎯Sgt. William Dawson🎯" Prior to the false criminal allegations, charges, subsequent unlawful raids, and attempted murder of the family, they submitted numerous complaints of stalking, harassment, and abuse of power to the "MICHIGAN STATE POLICE" and other agencies with video proof without accountability!

Without warning, members of the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team stormed their house. Within moments, gunfire erupted.

Terrified Nyrand Hardaway, unarmed and retreating, was shot at by "Trooper Blaine Stormer" while holding his puppy. The puppy was shot by Blaine Stormer and later succumbed to it's injuries. TROOPER BLAINE STORMER PROVIDED PERJURED TESTIMONY AT MR. HARDAWAY'S PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION ON JUNE 6, 2023 STATING HE DID NOT FIRE SHOTS AT NYRAND HARDAWAY. 🎯(Stormer’s own body-camera contradicts this lie)🎯

After Nyrand was unlawfully arrested, "Trooper Thomas Kill" elbowed him in the face breaking his nose and glasses. The unlawful police assault did not end there, "BLACK Detroit Police Officer Darren John Long" beat in the head and choked unconscious a handcuffed and defenseless Nyrand once he placed him into his unmarked silver Ford Explorer. A complaint was filed with "DPD Internal Affairs" with no accountability to date.

Andre' Hardaway, was initially unarmed and inside the homes bathroom, was shot multiple times as he exited and afterwards by "Trooper Maxwell Prince, Blaine Stormer, Sgt. Michael Thomas, Robert Bilacic, Drew Spencer, and Curtis Sweedyk."

Disabled Carla Hardaway was physically assaulted, knocked to the hard floor, and savagely dragged from her home by Trooper Adam Diroff, Steven Chenet, and Thomas Kill, once outside despite her pleas for help she was assaulted further by being knocked to the cold, hard concrete and dragged 35 feet suffering life threatening injuries by "Trooper Thomas Kill, Steven Chenet and Adam Diroff."

"Troopers Maxwell Prince, Blaine Stormer, Michael Thomas, Robert Bilacic, Thomas Kill, Drew Spencer, and Curtis Sweedyk" fired blindly through walls, creating deadly ricochets.
Body cameras were misused, edited, tampered with, obstructed, removed, and thrown to the floor.
Critical facts were left out of police reports.
False testimony was later given under oath.
This was not policing. This was terror.

The Hardaway family survived an encounter that should never happen in America — a family nearly killed in their own home by those sworn to protect them.

Mr. Hardaway is currently being criminally charged by the "State of Michigan Wayne County Assistant Prosecutor Matthew Hamilton Kemp Penney" for defending his disabled wife, minor son, and himself after being shot initially unarmed exiting the bathroom without warning or provocation. The use of deadly force was objectively unreasonable and unnecessary under the circumstances. "🎯Prosecutor Matthew Penney has withheld exculpatory evidence and made misrepresentations that constitute severe Brady violations. Prosecutorial Misconduct: Matthew Penney's actions (misrepresenting evidence, lying to Fox 2 Detroit News media regarding Mr. Hardaway and his son, defending Officers perjury) are egregious and may pierce his prosecutorial immunity for actions outside traditional prosecutorial functions.🎯"

Andre' Hardaway's criminal trial is now scheduled to begin on May 26, 2026 at the Wayne County Criminal Justice Center before Judge Tracey Green Court Room 506 at 10:00 A.M.
