In January, we handed in our 100k strong petition calling for women and girls to be protected in the Online Safety Bill. And today, the Bill is back in Parliament - moving ever closer to becoming law.
Today, the Bill enters ‘Committee Stage’ in the House of Lords, which is when Parliamentarians debate proposed amendments and ways to strengthen the Bill.
One of the amendments being debated is for the Bill to introduce a violence against women and girls code of practice. This would hold tech companies accountable with clear guidelines for preventing this abuse, as well as serious consequences for failures to act.
Support for this amendment is already growing, but we need your help to keep the pressure on Parliamentarians. Will you help us by sending a message to a member of the House of Lords today? Our friends at Refuge have put together a handy template which will send your message to one of 100 Peers.

Members of the House of Lords have waited a long time for their chance to strengthen the Online Safety Bill. Your demands for the new law to protect women and girls have not gone unnoticed.
Help us keep up the momentum by sending a message to the House of Lords today.
Thanks and solidarity,
Seyi and Andrea
