This bill will coordinate the work of Federal agencies in addressing heritage concerns and will enact import restrictions for Syrian cultural heritage. 

This bill is extremely important, because currently the US does not have an effective way to prevent the import of looted objects. World cultural heritage is for sale on the black market, and it funds human trafficking, drug trafficking, and terrorism; this bill acts against that.
