It is clearly evident that the Berlin Senate wants to destroy all historic buildings due to gentrification and profit- orientated real estate politics. A certain revanchism against architecture built by the  German Democratic Republic (East Germany) is also recognizable. Not only that the “Mäusebunker” by Gerd and Magdalena Hänska and the Former Institut für Hygiene und Mikrobiologie by Fehling+Gogel are in great danger to be lost, also the Jahnsportpark - Stadion! Other buildings will follow. This profit- oriented barbarism has to be stopped! It seems not impossible that one of the greatest icons of Berlin, the Berlin TV tower will also have to suffer this fate! It has to be saved!
