A chance at a fair trial

A chance at a fair trial
The Issue
A good man needs another chance at a fair trial! In November of 2016, Tyrone Javonne Richardson, a young black man, was convicted of 36 counts for a robbery that happened in 2015. This resulted in a sentence of 1,888 years!!! The DA in Jefferson County used previous cases to determine Richardson was a “habitual” offender giving him the ability to enhance Tyrone’s sentence by 3x the upper limit. This is one of the longest sentences ever given in Colorado and is solely based on the color of his skin. Tyrone did not get a fair sentencing and he needs the opportunity to plead his case again and overturn his ridiculous sentence. Can you help me get the love of my life Tyrone a new trial? Can you help me get Governor Polis to look at his sentence and determine what was the cause of the absurd amount of time given to Tyrone? Tyrone needs a second chance at life! Black lives matter and the situation was never a fair situation!!
