Los firmantes de esta petición solicitamos a "OLX", "Mercado Libre", "Yapo", "Mil Anuncios" y páginas similares, que añadan a sus normas la prohibición de avisos de compra/venta de animales y eliminen los publicados, porque la comercialización de animales constituye un negocio cruel que fomenta la reproducción forzosa  y la explotación de seres que por sí mismos no pueden protestar ni pedir por sus derechos.

*NOTA: Facebook ha prohibido la venta de animales así como de cualquier parte, pelaje o piel de un animal. Antes Facebook contribuía con este «negocio», pero cambió sus normas comunitarias y ahora elimina los avisos de ventas no autorizadas (la venta de animales no están autorizadas por Facebook). Denuncia si ves un aviso de venta de animales como: venta no autorizada.

Existe, en ese mercado virtual, la venta de perros, gatos y animales silvestres o llamados “exóticos” como “mascotas”. Este tipo comercialización de animales es uno de los motivos más importantes por el que no se puede acabar con el abandono y muerte de perros y gatos ni con el tráfico de animales silvestres.

Los explotadores de perros y gatos al reproducirlos para venderlos, originan que la gente, en lugar de adoptar animales que ya nacieron y esperan por un hogar, compren y apoyen esta explotación. Además, este “negocio” hace que la gente siga creyendo que los animales son objetos de compra/venta y solo los vean como eso y finalmente terminen abandonando al animal que compraron cuando el “juguete” dejó de gustarles o ya les causa problemas porque creen que son objetos sin sentimientos.

Por otro lado, la venta de animales silvestres es ilegal y su compra y venta está sancionada por Ley, pero mientras exista demanda (gente que los compra) el tráfico de animales silvestres no cesará. Y estos animales seguirán sufriendo y siendo sacados de su hábitat.

Comercializar con seres vivos con capacidad de sentir y sufrir es igual a como se hizo en la época de la esclavitud, cuando se creía que una persona era un objeto sin derechos y podía ser comprado y/o vendido.

Hoy en día se pueden encontrar avisos de venta, no solo de perros y gatos, sino también de aves, monos, reptiles y hasta insectos. Por eso queremos hacer un llamado a las empresas OLX, Mercado Libre, Yapo y similares en el mundo (luego sumaremos más tiendas virtuales si se da el caso) para que no permitan y prohíban la compra/venta cualquier especie de animales en sus páginas porque ese "negocio" les da la imagen de ser empresas sin ética y sin valores y están apoyando la explotación y crueldad con animales. Los negocios no tienen que tener el fin de solo ganar dinero sino también deben tener ética y moral, contribuir con el medio ambiente y rechazar la crueldad contra todos los seres vivos.

NO COMPRES ANIMALES. ADOPTA, RESCATA. RECHAZA EL TRÁFICO DE ANIMALES SILVESTRES. NO SON OBJETOS, SON SERES VIVOS QUE SIENTEN.

"OLX", “MERCADO LIBRE”, "YAPO" AND SIMILAR PAGES DO NOT ALLOW ANY PURCHASES OF SALE, BUY AND SELL, OF ANIMALS.

The signatories of this petition request OLX, Mercado Libre, Yapo and similar pages, to add to their rules the prohibition of notices of purchase and sale of animals and eliminate those that already exist, because the commercialization of animals is a cruel business that encourages reproduction forced and the exploitation of beings that by themselves cannot protest or ask for their rights.

In those virtual markets, there are the sale of dogs, cats and wild animals, called "exotic" as "pets." This type of "marketing" of animals is one of the most important reasons why you cannot end the abandonment and death of dogs and cats or the trafficking of wild animals.

The dog and cat exploiters when reproducing them to sell them originate that people, instead of adopting animals that were already born and wait for a home, buy and support this exploitation. In addition, this "business" makes people continue to believe that animals are objects of purchase and sale, seeing them as that and finally they ending up abandoning the animal they bought when the "toy" stopped liking them or because it causes them problems because they believe that are objects without feelings.

On the other way, the sale of wild animals is illegal and their purchase and sale is sanctioned by Law, but as long as there is demand (people who buy them) the traffic of wild animals will not stop. And these animals will continue to suffer and be removed from their habitat.

Marketing with living beings with the capacity to feel and suffer, is the same as it was done in the era of slavery, when people believed that a person was an object without rights and feasible to be bought and, or sold.

Today you can find sales notices, not only of dogs and cats, but also of birds, monkeys, reptiles and even insects. That's why we want to call OLX, Mercado Libre, Mil Anuncios, Yapo (then we adding more virtual stores if necessary) so they do not allow the purchase or sale of any kind of animals in their pages because that "business" gives them the image to be companies without ethics and values and are supporting the exploitation and cruelty with animals. The businesses do not have to have the aim of only making money but they must also have ethics and morals, contribute to the environment and reject cruelty against all living beings.

DON'T BUY ANIMALS. ADOPT THEM, RESCUE THEM. REJECT THE TRAFFICKING OF WILD ANIMALS. THEY ARE NOT OBJECTS; THEY ARE LIVE BEINGS THAT FEEL.
