TOMORROW. July 9th @ 4PM. MDUSD District Offices. 1936 Carlotta Dr., Concord, CA. This is a meeting for 5th grade parents and residence of MDUSD to discuss sexuality education for 5th graders. If you have not given your RSVP, please see the previous update for information on how to let district staff know your intent for attending this meeting. If you can NOT make this meeting, there is also another meeting on July 16th (same time/same place), the following Monday as well. REMEMBER. Use good words, because good words, will help make what counts, count. If you sow love, you get love. If you sow hate, then hate is what you get in return. I know that we can and we will find the right solution, if we work together. NO NAME CALLING. That means we can not use name calling to get our way. I do not make judgements about how someone else wants to live their life. It's a free country and each of us gets to decide. And, certainly I don't want anyone telling me how to live my life, so, I try my best not to tell others how to live their life and/or to judge them for how they decide to live their life. It's their decision. NO BULLYING. I will not stand for bullying or name calling because at the end of the day, that means we lose and I want a win. And, I think we can get there together if we are willing to work it out in a loving manner. That's the only way I move forward. However, parents, I can't do it on my own. So, hopefully you are at least sending email, or calling your board and superintendent to tell them your thoughts on this program. I hope you are also telling other parents about it too. SIMPLY PUT.
